It is obtained from the distillation of fermented pomace from fine grapes; the grape varieties that contribute to the fine Grappa dell’Etna are Nerello Mascalese, Cataratto and Nerello Cappuccio.
Nerello Cappuccio, with a good flavor structure and pleasantly fruity aroma, grows mainly in the provinces of Catania and Messina.

Cataratto, a very ancient Sicilian grape variety, has a good flavor profile with slight fruity hints and floral notes and a taste that tends toward soft. The Nerello Mascalese, with its excellent aromatic set and with its elegance and personality, contributes to give organicity to the whole, succeeding in creating a distillate of great value, with a smooth and harmonious taste.
