The moment you cross the threshold, the air changes. The sweet scent of freshly peeled lemon rinds mingles with the earthy notes of Etna's herbs and the warm aroma of the copper stills. You are at the heart of the Russo distillery, where since 1870 every gesture is an act of love for this volcanic land.
Our master distiller will guide you through the infusion rooms, where the botanicals rest for weeks, releasing essential oils and aromas. In the still room, you will see the gleaming copper work in silence, transforming the infusion into pure spirit. And in the botanical garden, you will touch with your own hands the plants that make our liqueurs unique: wild mint, rosemary, fennel, orange blossom.
Finally, the tasting room: one glass at a time, you will explore our catalog guided by the expert, from the intense amaro to the Dream Cream with Bronte pistachio, from the freshest limoncello to Bianconeve. Every sip tells the story of an ingredient, a place, a season of Sicily.

Aging cellar
In the cool silence of the cellar, the spirits rest in selected barrels for months. The wood releases its tannins, time adds roundness: every bottle brings its story here.
Bottling line
The final stop: the bottles move along, label, cap, batch number. You will see up close the care we put into preparing every bottle destined for your table.

How to Get Here
Via Duccio Galimberti 68, Santa Venerina (CT). Free parking at the distillery. 20 minutes from Catania Fontanarossa airport and 30 minutes from the center of Taormina.
Minors and Pets
Guests under 18 are welcome on the tour but cannot take part in the alcoholic tastings. We offer juices and non-alcoholic beverages. Small dogs are allowed in the garden and outdoor areas.

The experience

Every Russo Siciliano experience follows a five-stage journey, designed to guide the guest through a complete and mindful sensory journey on the slopes of Etna.
The welcome
The bottle is introduced, its origin is told. The setting — light, sound, temperature — prepares the senses for the gesture that is about to unfold.
The observation
Color, texture, luminosity in the glass: the amber of the Zagaro, the green of Seme Divino, the deep red of Profondo Russo. The eyes anticipate the palate.
The aroma
The first inhalation captures the volatile notes — flowers, citrus, fresh herbs. The second, deeper, reveals botanicals, spices, the memory of the barrel.
The tasting
The first small sip, held for three seconds: the palate maps sweet, bitter, acidic. The second tells the complete story: attack, evolution, long finish.
The memory
Reflection closes the experience: what has been perceived is described, emotions are shared. Every tasting becomes a memory that lingers.
