This Grappa is born from the most widespread vine in the Etnea area where it has been cultivated since time immemorial. Probably it can be identified with the ancient wines of Etna mentioned by Homer (wine offered by Ulysses to Polyphemus) and by the Latin historians. It is an elegant vine of great personality, has an excellent structure and a high aromatic content. Its pomace, lightly pressed, subjected to a delicate fermentation process, is distilled in modern stills that enhance its aromatic qualities.
